My Story:

I started this company after two life situations pushed me from my roots in business administration into senior living advocacy.  First, my own beloved grandparents experienced rapidly changing care needs.  My grandfather was diagnosed with dementia and could no longer stay safely in his home--and even after trying in-home care, it was obvious that staying home was no longer an option.  After many exhausting and misguided hours trying to find a community where my grandparents could stay together, we were then met with the frustration of going on tours only to find out there was no room in memory care, or that the community could not accommodate their situation. Not having the guidance of a skilled professional in the industry, we made a decision that we hoped would suit them for the time being. 

 

Shortly after that, I took a position as a sales and marketing director at an assisted living community.  Thinking I could help people like my grandparents, I quickly realized that although I was tasked with making the sale, the situation didn't always fit the needs of every senior.  Every living situation should be personalized as a place of belonging, affordability, care needs and long term contentment.
